    Agreed. My favourite childhood holidays were all at Scarborough in the late 60s/early 70s. Brilliant place in those days, just brilliant.

    I'm now looking forward to the new season, old mate. New Head Coach, new coaching staff coming on board, changes amongst the backroom managerial staff, possible new signings, all the current players starting with a clean slate, possible new formation under Schopp.

    If I'm honest mate, I'm a little sad to see Val go so soon. I thought we were building something quite special and on the up and up with him. Something special may still happen with Markus, however, I feel the bubble has burst. Time will tell as always. It's never dull being a Barnsley supporter! :D:D

    I was gutted when I heard he'd left, the same with Alex Mowatt. Valerien will be a hard act to follow (although I've no doubt there's been numerous posts belittling his achievements! :D), but I'm giving Markus my full backing. I know nothing about the bloke's coaching abilities. However, that was exactly the same with Daniel Stendel, Gerhard Struber & Valerien Ismael, either. Will we play 3-4-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1, who knows?
    As you say, life's never dull being a Barnsley fan! :D
