    my mates lad has done 2 tours out there and he says if hell is the worst place to be.afganistan is a step beyond that.Very very brave lad but it seems its 1 step forward, 1 sideways and 1 back.
    RIP and respect to this brave lad and his family, the letters show him to be " special " in the very sense of the word

    Very upsetting and my heart goes out to his family. I know that there will be many more casualties to come, but i pray for the safety of our forces out there. They have my upmost respect, gratitude and admiration

    That letter he wrote to his family in the case of his death was so so sad. Heartbreaking to read, it took me ages to read as i couldn't see for the tears.

    It's really made me want to do something to help the soldiers out there. I'm going to have a look on the net and see what i can find. If anyone knows of anything please post and let me know.

    Ady is a top man in every respect, someone I certainly look up to.
