maybe they could introduce something like these 'slapping' bouts, ref gets to line up for a freebie for something between yellow and red levels?

S***e idea really, there are no need for these new cards to be introduced.

If you ref the game consistently and correctly to the laws that are written up, nobody can complain. The complaints coming in is because of the inconsistency game to game, you see one game where theres 12 minutes extra time due to time wasting etc and 3 yellow cards given out for the same thing, and in another game it's 2 minutes extra time with no yellows even though one team has been massively time wasting all game.

Time wasting and gamesmanship is all that will happen if these sin bins are introduced and it'll kill a match. "Connells off for 10 minutes, so we'll have 10 men behind the ball and time waste until he's back on"

What shade of grey will it look like on my black and white TV?

Not yet convinced this colour fad will last.

Barmy int it. It's in the rules he doesn't go off and rightly so. Can't manage without a goalie but any outfield player yes. Even though he will be the injured party. Caused by an opponent. Bonkers.
