To be offered a new deal. Same as they said about Steele a couple of days ago. The first thing they're gonna talk to the new manager about is offering Steele a new deal.
Needs a tenth year for tax purposes we were told. Don seemed to think they'd appoint him to academy if a manager didn't want him
That was it, thought I'd missed summat. It's a PR piece of piss for the Don and club to sign him up. I just think they should be waiting until a new manager's appointed - if they're forcing Bobby on the new manager, they could've done it on Hill.
Your beef with Hemsworth. If it's not about working it's about something else. You take satisfaction from it, probably makes you feel a bit better about yourself. Numerous reasons he may or may not have a job. None of them would be anything to do with you.
My response to his comment was in regards to his reply regarding Bobby Hassell possibly being offered a new deal. Why did he feel the need to bring up Bobby's "salary" in such a detremental way? Other people also brought this up in this thread. People in glass houses and all that.
Mediator here for JackTatty and RotherhamTyke. Surely when you see an e-mail thread that has Bobby Hassell and Hemsworth Tyke in it...........you read it/laugh/then ignore it........for God's sake don't argue about it !! Lot of BBS users on here talk my kind of language and others just make me laugh.
I think it is safe to say Bobby Hassell loves the club more than you do, Phil - and he's been with us longer.
If he loved the club was he at Peterborough? or any match he wasn't on bench. Luke Steele actually likes playing for the club and he could probably get more elsewhere. He also apparently goes to watch Barnsley when hes injured and not in team apart from i think he said Swansea away i think he said he missed.
Why a new deal? 9 years service may be a long time at a football club but in the real world it is nothing to shout about. If it was in industry he would get one and a half weeks pay for each year of service. We need fresh blood in the club not old worn out never has beens. As a player he won't be able to carry us forward.
Would you visit your place of work if you was on the sick or on holiday or if they did not need you that particular day?
To be fair if my manager said stay at home if you want at Xmas and don't bother with the 3 hour round trip, l would an all.
