is Saturday’s ref apparently. He is the one who got struck off from the Premier League list in 2018 and then disappeared to Norway under a cloud.

I think he might have been a schoolboy at Barnsley many years ago. Massive Huddersfield town fan. Let’s hope we were kind when we released him!

In 2 games this season for league one he's given 10 yellow cards. Yippee.

In 12 championship games he's given 61 yellows and 4 reds. Double Yippee.

I've noticed from doing the game previews that the average this season tends to be 4-5 cards per game compared to 3-4 cards last season. Though Mr Madley does appear to be slightly above average in that department.

 

There can’t be many World Cup winners that sit a game out on the bench at Oakwell…

 

What a dreadful side that was, amazed we didn't finish bottom that season.

 

Derby fans already trying to get him to give them decisions based on him being from Huddersfield can we get a ref from Nottingham instead then please. Weird fan base. I’m pretty sure they will get all the decisions on sat regardless.

100% this will happen. I would've preferred a referee from Derby rather than this.

 

Can see him being removed to be honest. It's stupid the appointment was made in the first place. Plenty of games have late ref changes. We had one the other week.
