I've no doubt that after Cole scored a hat trick vs Port Vale, someone on there would have been saying he'll get 30 goals this season. Some were saying Slobodan Tedic was the best striker in league 1 last season after he scored a brace against Oxford. If Bolton fail to score tonight, their fans on twitter will be claiming they need a new front 2. Football fans are fickle at the best of times, they're completely batsh!t on twitter.
They might do. Gonna wait until they've played someone better than Cheltenham, Lincoln and Barrow to make that judgement though. I'd say Cheltenham are definite candidates for relegation, and Lincoln I'm sure won't have as much of a freak home record as they did last season too. I feel both will finish below Bristol Rovers who we played at the weekend, and probably Fleetwood, who Bolton face this evening.
To be fair Lincoln were difficult opposition last season. They had a great record against the top sides and especially against us. We failed to beat them three times, failing to even score against them.
Yeah, I just can't see them doing the same this season with the players they've signed and sold. Never know like.
Strange isn’t that Bolton who arguably performed just as well as we did last season haven’t been raided for it’s better players and now seem to kicking on.
