The difference is...

...if you boo a comedian, they might leave the stage and you can continue drinking your beer. If you boo a player, he might have a bad game and cost us the match. Not very productive is it?

And there's a world of difference between complaining and booing. Booing is the equivalent of taking a defective telly back to Dixons and then standing on the shopfloor shooting abuse at the sales clerk that sold you it.

I'm all for this move to rid Oakwell of booers. As has been pointed out before, it isn't Reids fault that he was selected and he's not going to argue against the decision is he. He can just play his best out there on the field. And it seems to me from the posts on here that nobody has a problem with his work ethic so there's no issues there. So it can be concluded that the boo boys are booing Davey's selection, not Reid personally. But that hardly makes it more palettable for Reid. I can totally understand his reaction to the boos.

Your vision of a real world sounds horrendous. My world really isn't like that.

...just like you have a "right" to act like a dick. Just don't complain if we don't respect you and you're not welcome down the 'Well.

Are you questioning Reid's commitment? Most people on here don't. Some people reckon he's not Championship standard but that's another matter and certainly not one to warrant booing.
