You quoted my post? Hence thinking you were directing it at me. That’s all.

You were the last post in the thread when I started typing. Then the Villa/Man U game got interesting. Then I continued.

    Nothing sinister.

I was aware of the voucher offer, but the RR+ option was a simple one for me based on the fact that I always buy at least one shirt, and this was a way to get one for £40, rather than whatever it is the club charge for them.

That being said, having received my voucher book today, I might have made use of some, but not all, of the vouchers in a normal season. The free coffee ones and the £5 discount in the club shop would have saved a little on things I'd have bought anyway, but that's probably about it. I'd have preferred more variety, rather than multiple versions of the same voucher, but it's a moot point now as all of them necessitate spending something at the club to take advantage of them, which I'm no longer doing.

Personally, I think the outrage over the vouchers is diverting attention from the (many) bigger issues surrounding the club at present. They've been dragged kicking and screaming into getting them sent out (with, by the looks of things, an active effort out of personal pride from Whitey and others to ensure this was done). It was probably the easiest thing that was in the club's gift to fix, of all the issues too. Whatever we think of the end product, the club has now 'delivered' on the offer.

The other issues that it still has remaining are far more challenging, and that's where I think we should now be continuing to apply pressure.
