    There's a difference between being a legend of theirs, and being one of them. Hourihane is a Barnsley legend, but not a Barnsley fan.

    I stand by what I said - I'd sooner us be mediocre forever, than be amazing under the stewardship of a massive Sheff United fan.

    I have read some daft comments on here over many years but that one is up there with the daftest , I know everyone has a right to their opinion but surely Barnsley fans will always want the best for their club & mediocrity is not their best .

    It's a matter of opinions.
    We have had some tripe managers over the years many not Blades or Owls fans.
    Give me a good coach /manager over fan of our rivals anytime.
    I loved it when Alan Clarke Norman Hunter managed us.
    Massive Leeds fans but both managed us well first time round including Danny Wilson also.
