    I hope the nurse treating him has all the necessary Ppe and for his sake can't remember him cheering when she didn't get her pay rise

    Treating your comment with more respect than it deserved I bet he doesn’t. You have to be really ill to benefit from a ventilator it’s not something done just to boost you if you are a struggling to fight it off. He definitely would be unable to function as PM if he is on one

    I understand they have to heavily sedate you (nearly unconscious) to put you on a ventilator and your survival rate is heading towards heads or tails.

    There have been lots of examples of people taking a turn for the worse in week 2. I'd hazard a guess that No 10 may not be being entirely honest about his condition and I am concerned that he may be in some big trouble, as with thousands of others. Hope for his sake I am wrong.

    Please explain! Am I a pillock for not believing everything that the Tory press / BBC tell us? Or is it because I dare to have a somewhat sceptical view of what goes off within the higher echelons of society?
    I may or may not agree with other posters views but I would certainly stop short of insulting them.

    I wish he’d get better, because I’m trying to think of a bigger pair of c-nts in the history of the world than Matt Hancock and Michael Gove.

    In this instance, frankly, yes you were. It was clear from the outset that the guy was ill.

    It was also clear that it was something that even the most cynical PR team couldn't fake, because of the obvious risk that it would be impossible to explain if he was faking it and later got it for real.

    Not being a medical expert I'm not sure how long the Virus begins to affect someone from the time of infection and also how long the illness lasts but I don't believe a word this government says and I also think Boris is a chancer and may have taken 1 gamble too many in this instance.
    However,Just to reiterate, if he has caught this horrible disease then I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
