Helik has been fantastic. Won everything in the air. Williams has had a great game too, particularly when we were on top. And as I say that, he's just won us a free kick in midfield to take the pressure off of our defence.

Commentators keep saying how comfortable we are in possession. A much needed confidence boost for Saturday after the Luton defeat.

Wonder how he'll be with fast tricky strikers but can't see many big lads getting any change out of him based on this showing - won everything

Was it an injury the reason Sollbauer went off ?

I'd prefer points on the board but remember Luton like us were top 10 teams after lockdown. We'll be fine, a few new additions and we'll kick on.

I think he had taken a knock 5 minutes before, but it could just have been precautionary.

Pleasing all round performance. Best game yet for Ritzmaier for me. Mowatt, Mads best 2. Styles kicking on. May have played a supposedly weakened side. But a polished performance for me.

Both teams made a number of changes, ours played much better than theirs.

Meant to put both in front of may. Yes I agree totally . I actually enjoyed the game. Wonder if any of the new players will start on Saturday. Helik. Freizer. Thought Schmidt did well. Ritzmaier had his best game for me. 2 excellent goalies to pick from. Some headaches for Struber as said on another thread mate. New striker in this week if rumours are true. Things look on the up.

Just watched highlights. Standout moment for me was Schmidt's opening goal. Woodrow would probably have blasted it across goal, aiming for far corner and I suspect looking at the goalkeeper's movement he expected something similar. Schmidt had other ideas and carefully and calmly placed it between the goalkeeper who was already committed to moving right and the near post which was quite a narrow gap. Showed real composure.
A promising sign that we may have someone who does not need multiple chances to find the back of the net.
