I think Chadli has had a gripe at both Spurs and WBA because he feels he should play as a striker yet both managers see him as a winger. Could be that Clement see's Chadli as a striker and has told him that hence the move gathering pace.
Played right midfield in the play off final and looked great. Certainly worth a punt. Scored a cracking goal too.
If am honest I'm the same but I believe he did play a handful of games as a striker at WBA but he never really made an impact.
He has played up top for Belgium as well. Clearly sees himself as a second striker so you might not be a million miles off with the Chadli/McBurnie link.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/brad-potts/leistungsdaten/spieler/237013 His stats based on league and position played for those who enjoy that type of thing. Mainly played CM, but also played a lot at Right Midfield. good luck to that lad if we sign him. Huge step up though so hope we have a couple of more experienced loans lined up as well to help the new lads bed in and give them some time.
They won't be too disappointed that he's left if that's their opinion then.? Is he being trained/coached correctly. ? Might find that Hecky and Co can have an influence and bring the best out of him. Wouldn't think we'd pay a six figure sum if we didn't think he's going to be an asset to our squad.!
