Highly amusing that around half of your post history is protesting that people should be allowed to have their opinions without getting abuse and the other half is vaguely racist remarks or abuse of people with a differing view point. And as for our owner..........I've always said we should be eternally thankful for what hes done.
And as things stand now; now that he is more involved, the club is doing brilliantly.

But that doesn't change the fact that we could do with more buying power........and if that involves another owner; better still another owner in conjunction with the present board then that would be great

It is a Barnsley site yes but I will tackle racists wherever I find them. If they bring pathetic racism and homophobia onto a Barnsley site then they will be tackled on the subject. It isn't petty at all to tackle racism where it is found. It's the right and proper thing to do. If more people tackled it instead of letting it slide because it's only a forum or a message board then it would be a far better place

I dont know if the two posters in this thread hold racist views of not(if I had to make a snap judgement,i'd say not) but I think we as a society need to stop using the term racist as much as we do.

If(in my opinion anyway), we brand people who simply want to control immigration the way the Aussies do(for example)as being racist, then we are just diluting a term that has been a powerful one in the past, which I feel makes life easier for the truly bigoted among us, and I don't want to do anything that allows them to get away with their evil beliefs.

Also, but pedantic, but can we all stop using the term, "a racist" as in "you are a racist". As far as i know the correct grammar is "you are Racist", in the same way you wouldn't say to someone from Spain "you are a spanish", but would say "you are spanish". May be wrong but it's always niggled me...

It was basically just an example of(like I say, in my opinion), people overusing a term that should be reserved for some of the vilest of people in both ours and other societies.
