    I would imagine

    the answers may comprise

    1 We do pay competative wages though we cant compete with clubs with significantly higher revenues

    2 It might be going on gray / hammill / an other / see above

    3 probably though we are aiming higher.

    I doubt its that simple

    It may be a wage issue in that Blackpool offered him more than we think he is worth - in which case good luck to him, but we have shown that we can pay good enough wages for decent players - eg Andersson Steele etc so I would be surprised if it was as simple as we cant afford him.
