    I preferred them when they were a team of play-off bottlers. More entertainment value.

    They did spend loads of money and rack up the debt but compared to other clubs like Wednesday and derby who tried and failed they spent peanuts.

    And last night toney had a 50million pound Ben White in his pocket winning headers for fun.

    Have they..? They've spent 23.1million on four players this pre-season. Which I would say was decent..

    Surely you have got the wrong way round, if you have the financial backing then you do not have to sell your star players

    As of 2015 the owner had spent about £90m
    The owner has invested £100m of his own money. As much as others? No, but for a club of Brentford's size it's considerable. They have spent it well though and they've not been wasteful with it.
