You seem to be forgetting that the EU will also want access to the UK market. Junker & Merkel don't hold all the aces.

Probably 3 of the four aces and a pair of kings. We could still get a royal flush, but given the people in charge of the negotiations we'll be lucky to get a pair of 3s.

No matter which way any of us voted the social elite want a one world government.......its all about control of the masses....Europe and the so called common market is just the start.....they give you a little back and what do you give in return.....less of your freedom in the long term.......the powers that be never wanted us out it was all reverse psychology like most other things they do....think about it....dont you think for one minute they knew what would happen if the people voted out..... it is about paying lip service and appearing to be doing something about the situation.
The population of the planet are lied to by the elite and those they employ to spread their capitalism idealistic world order.
If you honestly think those in charge care about us answer me this.....why dont they put a end to the problems with homelessness, food banks, disability and benefits , social injustices, that are far too common these days let alone the problems in the NHS.
The answer they give is that theres no money.....so how come we can always fund wars and a out dated trident programme.....
We are on a very long slippery path until people wake up and look behind the shadow of the viel that they pass off as the truth.

One world government? - as in the end to wars between countries and the loss of tens of millions of lives each century due to the whims of whoever happens to be in charge of a country at a moment of time?

Sounds like a good trade off to me.

The problems that you quote are mostly due to the short term policies of successive British government and have very little to do with the EU - in fact, the EU have probably done more to mitigate the worst excesses of our government by investing money into the regions.

Homelessness - the tories selling off social housing without replacing it
Food banks - Tory austerity policies
    Disability benefits - as above
Social injustice - This is probably helped by the ECHR
    NHS - government austerity again

However good Brexit is for the country, expect to have more austerity and reduced spending on benefits and the NHS due to yet more privatization and austerity policies - we are going to be pretty much stuck with a Tory government for the foreseeable future. You might also like working while you are 70, as the retirement age will be going up again soon...

Either way its all still about control...it wont happen in my life time and maybe not in my recently born grandsons life but when one regime controls the lot then we will be enslaved on a grander scale than we are now....and unfortunately unless we all start forward thinking ( not suggesting you dont ) and thus question what is taking place we then become masters of our own downfalls....just rolling over and allowing them to tickle our bellies whilst shafting the next generation is no way to act.

According to the German press we have one negotiating card that is very valuable , but seems to go by without a mention , that is our contribution to the European Investment Bank . Without having the article to refer to , it suggested we are one of the biggest contributors , but the lowest drawer on the fund....which amounts to many billions of funding for infrastructure projects . The article basically concluded that if we pull the plug on that it will be extremely difficult and damaging for the EU.

Not the main article but a snippet from another .

"Brexit could also lead to painful shortfalls for the European Investment Bank (EIB), Kullas calculated. If the British were to withdraw their share capital in the development bank, it would result in a shortfall worth billions. The EIB would be forced to make fewer loans -- loans that are vital for infrastructure projects across the Continent.

According to Kullas, the British have thus far borne the greatest burden at the bank. Their share of total capital is 16 percent, but they only benefit from 8.8 percent of the loans. No other country has a larger imbalance.

If the referendum had have been counted on Westminster constituency results, as we do with general elections. Then it's been calculated that the leave result would have been nearer 63%.

When have we ever not been under the control of the few? It was always a few tribal leaders, lords, kings or what we have now controlling the rest of the population. Sitting on the sidelines and complaining won't change it, but if you feel strongly then you can at least try to make a difference and stand as a candidate in an election.
