    If you want to watch the BBC news channel today you'll see that French Farmers have exactly the same problem.

    Then don’t defend it if you don’t believe it. I didn’t say your words. surely the European situation is not self imposed, we’d be having this same discussion irrespective of CV19. Admittedly the current crisis won’t help but once movement is allowed they will quickly rectify the situation, we seem to be hoping for a legion of land girls (and men) to suddenly spring into action. It’s a bit bizarre unless all these people who were convinced by Farage they were being seen off are actually going to do the work?

    I agree but that wsn't the narative being set by the government in their announcments regarding skilled/unskilled workers was it ?

    I'm sorry, I'm definately no leftie as those who know me would probably agree, but the current tory government are the most odious disengenuous overpromoted bunch I can remember.

    Absolutely HF, there are elements of morons on both sides of any debate/ election/ referendums, there always as and always will be, but the fact there is extreme left and right views it doesnt take away their right to have a vote
