I dont expect miracles, like I said earlier , with parachute payments its not a level playing field but I do like to see progress , however gradual

 

We've gone backwards in the last twelve months. Considerably.

 

Well we ended up 14 th last season , so I will wait until the season is over to make any judgement on if we have progressed or not , I think you have to take it season by season

 

Pretty sure we were about 18th this time last season before an amazing December. Summat like that. Hadn’t we lost 5 in 6 or summat during November last season?

 

So the sum of our ambition is to finish above Burton Albion, oh dear oh dear.

 

Thats not what I said at all , I was responding to a post which was having a go at our club by saying that Burton were paying out more than us, I was saying that did not matter , its where we finish that counts , so do not twist my words , I never mentioned ambition , you have

 

"surely the only thing that counts regarding Burton is that we finish above them" so yes you didn't mention ambition, I did, and i really hope you're point isn't taken up by other supporters and god forbid, the club.

Then it came together and we went on a great run. I’m hoping it can happen again but have to say it’s unlikely. We seem to be carrying too many at the min

 

I'll tell you what - if we have an amazing December this time round I'll become Blink 182's second biggest fan. If we get to 7th in the table I'll become their biggest.

 

Time will tell. Difficult to know what we'll do considering the form so far. Very up and darn.

We always looked likely to score and had players capable of doing so throughput the team. At the minute if Bradshaw doesn’t notch or their isn’t a moment of magic from Barnes we look very flat and timid offensively.

 

Budget/whatever - think everyone ought to listen in full to Hecky's interview - gives some much needed context to our season, and with regard to some individual players.

Win 3 on the trot/lose 3 on the trot - it's just a snapshot in time. Especially with an evolving and developing squad like we have. The season is 46 games, it hasn't ended now. If you believe that this is as good as it's likely to get - or will get worse, then fair enough. I don't think that's what the manager genuinely feels.
