Don't know what else he could have said

We can now do one of two things

1 Accept the mistake, trust it won't happen again and move on.

2 Never forgive, never forget, bairn on until we're blue in the face and generally have a miserable existence.

RE: Don't know what else he could have said

Accept the mistake (mistake! - it makes my blood boil), trust it won't happen again? In other words just be a great big mug again.

The whole way in which the box office is run on a weekly basis needs completely overhauling. Have you ever been for a ticket on the day of the game? Just try it and see which tickets are available. Ever tried getting an away ticket (for the following Tuesday) on the day of a home Saturday match at 11.45am (when they were supposed to be on sale until 12.00) to be told the tickets had been sent back to the opposition club that morning and you should have got one earlier? Ever tried to use chip and pin? I could go on and on. The place is run for their convenience - not the fans.

As for public relations.. substitute utter contempt in my experience. Yes, I know that there are some good staff down there and I've praised them on here when I've had a good experience. I'm talking about what comes from the top down.

    I'm confused.

What role can the supporters trust play in implementing a priority system?

It was briefly mentioned i think but there wasn't so much umbrage directed at that.

What do you mean by that? You think it was mentioned? I am right in supposing that the Supporters' Trust aren't that bothered about it then? Seems that people have accepted that a silly mistake has been made, sorry promise it won't happen again. Disgraceful. This was planned, discussed and decisions made. Fans were given entirely the wrong impression of what would happen. This was done deliberately as they knew how the allocation of priorities was going to be made. It's a disgrace not a mistake.

Well it was an open forum so people were able to make whatever comments or questions they liked and I thikn it was mentioned in passing by someone. Maybe those people who went and bought a colchester ticket on the basis that they were going to get priority weren't represented at the meeting?
