Exactly he's underachieved at every other championship club he's played at. He failed at that level in both his last two clubs at Huddersfield and Rotherham. I'm sure some championship clubs will be in for him thinking they can change the norm, but I don't think that many will want him.

Have I got the wrong end of the stick I thought he left Huddersfield for personal rather than performance related issues

Anything posted by a Football Club Owner on social media is fair game. The clue is in the name. Patrick and his ghost writers know this. They're pillocking a lot of people, and they're doing it well..

If he didn't want something like this reposting he shouldn't have posted it on FB or are we really saying that the only fans allowed to know about newsworthy issues regarding the club are those that are FB friends of PC. The rest of us don't have a right to know?

By all accounts he played in ever pre-season Huddersfield friendly apart from the one against us so you'd assume he was in there plans for the season, somethings gone wrong somewhere and im guessing its off the field.

I'm pretty sure Mr Cryne knows when posting stuff like he did about Hammill that it'll be shared elsewhere.

Not sure that people's facebook statuses should be viewed as fair game though. And your last sentence has a certain flavour to it.

Stood out playing for perrenial relegation strugglers.?

That makes him even better then if he's playing for a struggling team against teams going for promotion into Premier intit?
It's against top opposition he stood out regardless of how struggling we played.

nah, no flavour to it at all. i've seen a lot of patrick cryne's facebook posts, and i think a lot of 'em are just taking the pi$$. the author(s) having a good old laugh, for me.

i think any facebook status' regarding Barnsley Football Club, are absolutely fair game. that's just my opinion. i also think he's well aware that what he posts on facebook, will be shared beyond those who are friends on his page. if he doesn't, he's being massively naive.

I said that. He's not behind the door.

And yes, a lot of his statuses are amusing. Not sure that he has others typing them for him, mind. Not summat I've ever thought until now. And naew, I don't see that.

    Interesting though.

Well said. If he is barmy enough to put stuff on FB then it's in the public domain. Don't post if you don't want news out there.

It's not hard to follow surely?

If it's on there, post it where you like.

PS don't post this cos it's a secret. Jeez. Couldn't make this up.

    Aye.

If it was really a secret and he didn't want it passing on he could have named the club.

Did he... don't know. That would have given it more credence. The words significant offer and no named club make it more likely he knew it would be reposted elsewhere
