Palmer is crap. Woodrow is crap. Jordan Williams is crap. Styles is crap. Comments I've seen aplenty over the last few weeks. Except we know, categorically, that they're not. They're all very decent championship level footballers. We've seen this with our own eyes, within the last few months. This in itself should be enough to make the powers that be act. I'm expecting Helik, one of the best centre backs playing outside any top flight in the world to become "crap" next. That would take some doing.
Palmer and Styles will be Premier League players soon. That’s my opinion and that shows what Schopp is doing to them both. They’ve been ‘crap’ this season but gonna be too good for us. Brittain, despite how gash he’s been and was awful last night, is one of the best right backs in the league on his day.
Shame really. Last season he could take a man on, he battled well and won the ball, his crosses were dangerous and he looked like a gem. I’m still hoping it’s just fitness issues. He was one of my favourites last season. There is a player there, but only seen glimpses of his ability so far this term. Maybe it’s a confidence thing. Maybe it’s a positional thing. But he is a very good player.
It looks to me as if he has lost the players - I think the players are as baffled as I am with the team set up or lack of it - proceeding on this basis is simply continuing to do what isn't working which is just insanity - Schopp is soiled and must go today
I think we all know he isn't crap but last night wasn't his best game don't know what he was doing for the 1st then should have conceded a pen. For me schopps lost the players and it shows.
How to undo 2 years of good work in 3 months. This time 2 years ago we were struggling with a young squad and also under Stendel probably playing the wrong tactics at the time - though at least they were clear. Struber and Ishmael with a bit of help from Murray transformed them into a really good team with players like Brittain Styles Helik looking far too good for us to keep longer term - Jordan Williams though injured for much of last season was probably our best player under Stuber. Somehow he has managed to turn a silk purse into a sows ear to reverse a well known phrase. If nothing else our owner have to act protect their investment - our model is to develop players and then sell them for a profit - I think the value of our players is plummeting daily It may be that the backroom issues are a significant contributory factor but Schopp just looks completely lost. Every match they leave him in charge makes it more certain we will be playing L1 football next season and have a fire sale of players at knockdown prices and probably with only around 4000 ST's sold its madness to leave him in charge any longer
