The break because of the cancelled game and the performance against Chelsea definitely seem to have inspired them. There are six key games by the end of March, Stoke, Millwall, Derby, Wycombe, Birmingham and Wednesday. A minimum of 12 points from that lot and we're on 57. We'd need to find 15 points from our other ten league games and leave ourselves on 72 to make it I think. Going to be close, but what a season.

So if we get 18 from them, we on for automatic? :)

As comfortable a 1-0 Barnsley away win as I've seen. Not at the top of our game but still superior all over the pitch. Had Helik scored in the first half, it'd have been as perfect a display from a defender as you could wish to see and he was my MOTM.
Finally, a big thumbs up to Helen for her Brizzle vs. Brazil thread title. Nice one, Helen.

Makes it more exciting with that many teams still in the hunt.

Without belittling our performance one bit - it was workmanlike & functional without the usual intensity - just how poor were the opposition??? I honestly don’t think I’ve seen a more dispirited, half-arsed display from a side at any level. Something genuinely rotten there...

It's also the sort of fixture, in the past, we've struggled to get anything out of.

Ha ha me too in the last 10 mins but tbh they never threatened. We cruised that beginning to end on reflection.

Match day thread title was mine. Not wanting to step on anyone’s boots, just left suggestive hints this morning.:)
I suspect Tykes or Colliers will be trotted our next? Rotation. Just to keep them all nicely rested & feeling loved.. :)

Oh God no, don’t. it’s embarrassing enough already..
    On a football note..
Palmer was my MOTM today. But if we have opportunity shake things up, if there’s nothing to play for. I’d try starting Jordan W at left WB & move Styles central. Could interchange, both have a decent cross in the bag. Val, as always, you can have that for nowt.. :)
