    Those are the two selections that I'm struggling with. We're not going to learn anything about them, Woakes expecially, and they're not our best bowlers.

    I'm pretty appalled at how we're handling our best two bowlers.

    They may be our oldest two bowlers, but they are still comfortably our best two bowlers and on that basis, they should be in the squad until either they aren't the best options, are injured, or they choose to retire. But given their performances down the years, I think they deserve to be treated with a bit more respect.

    You'd also think that the younger bowlers coming through could hugely benefit from advice from them, so to throw them in with Woakes and Overton... I can see another series defeat coming.
