    Can't see us getting much for an attacking player with only a dozen career goals in four seasons mainly below Championship from his 95 games.

    If this transfer goes through, I for one will be sad to see Jacob leave. Even if others don't rate him, I certainly do. He played a huge part in our record breaking promotion season, especially with his goals towards the end of the campaign.
    Goodbye and good luck, Jacob. You'll certainly receive a warm welcome from me any time you return to Oakwell.

    Such a shame. Gave his all for this football club and will be missed.

    True but the system identified them , they were bought cheap & both turned out to be justifiable gambles & we got excellent championship strikers for a song, personally speaking , I am in the Jacob Brown fan club & hope we hold on to him but the old saying of no smoke without fire seems to be prevalent .

    Based on what Scooby Doo has said about the transfer policy, I do not really mind players being sold; I want to see them replaced with the money. That's it.

    I liked Brown and he had an assist in him but I don't think he's irreplaceable, even on Conway's micro-budget.

    If Daddy Chien and the gang make all the same mistakes as last season, then it will be annoying af.

    "Reluctantly" my ar5e. Don't sell him then. Keep him at least another season. He's only 22 and will only get better. Why would you Reluctantly sell anyone. It's not like your hands are tied behind your back

    I would guess that Covid is forcing our hand with selling at least one player to cover the shortfall. Brown was always my favourite for leaving out of the three linked.

    Wanted to leave had his head turned months ago in regards wages. Cant believe some of the comments on social media regarding him leaving "si thi" "I'll drive him there" etc jacob has always given 100% for barnsley fc which is alot more than some have over the years, was a important part of us been promoted and staying up infact the promotion wouldnt have happened without his goals and assists always had time for the fans.. good luck jacob brown hope you have a great career.

    I don’t mind him leaving providing we bring in a couple of championship ready players with the money but that should be it now we don’t need to sell anymore of our first teamers or we might be after another new gaffer.

    To be honest I'd not thought of it like that. Out of our 3 obvious assets (Woodrow and Mowatt been the other 2), if we HAVE to sell one then it would be Brown I think - just. Hopefully he can be replaced by someone who fits the system.
