    Average league 1 salary for a manager. £180k.
    I dont know what Duff was on. but His wages if
    £180k pa means £360k towards the next managers contract. And we'll have another £450k that wasn't figured in the budget. to play with as we see fit.
    If he was on £250k pa that's £500k to the next managers contract and still another £450k to play with.

    We've just banked 500k from Duff, and we all know he's likely to only last 12 months anyway, so it pays for itself really. If a Champ team comes in for him then it's a non-starter. But if they don't, I doubt he would have a problem managing in L1.

    Same answer really. Depends whether or not another Championship club comes in for him. If they don't, he either sits it out and waits, or takes a job in a different league.

    I don't think he'd fit our players and style and I don't consider him to be much of a tactician. If we were to appoint him I don't think he'd last the season.
