I hope he keeps it - dont begrudge him it and I bet the brummie player doesnt want it but technically it was an own goal
Deserved victory tonight, in my opinion. We were the better team throughout. The only mistake that our defence made all game resulted in their goal. The lads showed what they're made of, though, and battled back to get the win. Sollbauer was my MOTM, with Victor getting a deserved mention, too. Winning away from home, especially after going behind, is always a positive. No complaints from this happy Red tonight.
Well said as usual mate. Great comeback victory, first for a long time. Nice to see Cauley mix it up a bit from the penalty, going for the other side Lots still to work on though, namely shots on target. We do create some lovely opportunities only for the resultant shot to go over the bar or wide. Overall though, pleased with the 3 points
BBC report must have been written by a Brummie!! "In a game of few chances, Blues went in front on 56 minutes with their only effort on target - a beautiful move finished off nicely by striker Scott Hogan's second goal of the season. A clever backheel by Jonathan Leko through the legs of Tykes defender Mads Andersen down in the right corner set Maxime Colin free in space and he squared to his left for Hogan at the near post to slide home a low, well-struck right-foot shot. But the game was turned on its head when Barnsley won a contentious 71st-minute spot-kick."........ "and Styles' low left-foot shot skewed in to earn Barnsley their first win in three games." Hmmmm!! No mention of how Barnsley wer far the better side . The only time that was mentioned was in the quotes from the Brummie's Aitor Karanka. And I STILL stand by my contentious statement that Woodrow is overrated (not bad just overrated) How long do we continue to make excuses for him? Arguing he has scored x goals in y games (5 out of 7 is it?) means nothing when most have been from penalties. He continues to blast shots off target.
