Spreadsheet knows something Paul Hurst doesn't. 18 appearances for Shrewsbury last season at 13 the season before. Could have been due to injury I suppose. There must be some logic behind signing so many midfielders, ie they are the ones who get most fatigued, most often injured and suspended. Would much rather we brought in an out and out winger and put our faith in Bird/McGeehan if Dougall is out.
It was purely based on Potts being the only midfielder to have been linked with a move away recently. Nothing to do with his performance Saturday. I rate him.
