Stairfoot, you just don't understand or are thick or are you a racist, Black lives Matter is against people of colour being classed as 2nd class citizens in countries like the USA and to lesser part the UK. People who keep repeating White lives Matter are against Black Lives Matter their Bigots and Racists trying to take away the reasoning for the movement.
You need to educate yourself a bit more. Being Muslim isn't a race thing it's a religious belief there are Arabic Muslims South Asian Muslims Oriental Muslims African Muslims even White European Muslims.
I've done with him. He's in the Racist Club with Deetee, Selby and Wilko. Won't be conversing with any of them any more.
I quite carefully stated that I was NOT saying those responsible didn't have racist intent. I was merely commenting that it would be probably difficult to prove in a court of law they did as nothing on the banner was legally overtly racist. The sentiment in all probability was the phrase taken literally isnt.
I've read this 3 times and can't decide whether it's a joke or whether the joke is still available #confusedofDonny
I'm well educated, thank you. I know which muslims you were referring to- the ones that don't look like you. Ironic that a racist is asking me to educate myself Like others though, I'm done conversing with you and others of your ilk. You're a disgrace.
Best thing that can happen is some sort of reprisal on the plane owner/s . Because if they start to to see there is no financial gain and a negative for doing these sort of banners it will stop imo .
It's not enough to not be racist anymore. You have to be anti-racist. Don’t let racist people get away with it. Challenge them.
Whilst it’s stupid & shouldn’t have happened what can you do? They’ve not done anything illegal. I’ve seen Burnley say they’ll ban those responsible from Turf Moor but I’m not sure how that would stand up to any scrutiny. The lad who’s arranged it is clearly a ******** with his photos posing with Tommy Robinson but I think they’d have to find some evidence of racism to ban him & any others involved
They're a private company so they can refuse to serve anyone they want so long as it's not for discrimination reasons
Yes agree they shouldn’t have allowed it but I was more thinking of the threats by Burnley to ban the fans involved
Private land they can ban whoever they like. They don’t require criminal levels of evidence, they don’t even need civil levels (beyond reasonable doubt - balance of probability). The charge would be bringing the club into disrepute, they don’t have to prove racism, they only need to assert that this episode damaged the reputation of Burnley FC.
Bumped into a lad I play 5-a-side with, Derby fan, on the harbour other day. Spent an hour with him and his mates and had a few beers and catch up. As they were leaving, he turned back and shouted (without a hint of irony), 'there's one of your lot round the corner'. I had a look: bloke wearing a Burnley shirt. I didnt have the energy to correct him... how hard can it be? Not to mention the difference between claret and bright red
