i bet it isn't my brothers friend phoned me on saturday who lives in russia which is near poland and he said it wasn't safe as he got mugged there last year
Why why why why why?? We wouldn't get a fee, we'd have no-one to replace him, and we'd be fecked. Christ on a stick.
What's the article actually say ? Seen as I can't be arsed to register on official site for about the 20th time. I gather he's having a trial for some polish club but does he miss matches?
RE: What's the article actually say ? he is supposedly back in time for the Colchester match.</p> bet he'll be jet lagged and then ritchie won't play him</p> BUGGAR</p>
RE: What's the article actually say ? Shouldn't be jet lagged going to Poland really I wouldn't have thought, but of course he won't have been training with us in our plan to beat Colchester, so it's bound to harm us in some way.
You cant get Jet lag travelling to Europe surely? Still he might have had some quality training and come back a better player, you never know!
Why look on the negative side He might have missed the Colchester pre match training, but equally he might pick up some new techniques and special skills, for heading and shooting and stuff, while he's in poland
RE: You cant get Jet lag travelling to Europe surely? There is a time difference,so you can get jet lagged
RE: Why look on the negative side More skills than he's picked up while at Leeds for ages playing with Champions League semi-finalists? Leeds then were far better than Wisla will ever be. I'm picking out the negatives as there are no positives!
For them not registered BARNSLEY midfielder Jacob Burns will spend this week on trial with Polish champions Wisla Kraków.</p> The Australian international signed for the Reds in October 17,2003, after a spell with Leeds United and has made 102 first teamappearances, netting six goals. He has been a virtual ever-present forAndy Ritchie's side this season, turning out 39 times.</p> The 27-year-old has won two full caps for Australia and has also represented the Socceroos twice in non-A internationals.</p><p align="center"><table width="183" cellspacing="0" border="0" align="center" style="width: 183px; height: 251px;" class="caption"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;" class="captionImage"></td></tr><tr><td class="captionText"><div align="center" class="innerCaptionText">Jacob Burns training with the Wisla squad this week.</div></td></tr></tbody></table></p> Reds boss Andy Ritchie told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Jacob has gone to Poland on trial this week with a view to earning something.</p> "There could even be the possibility of him going to Kraków thisseason because Jacob has aspirations of getting back into theAustralian squad for the World Cup. That may be a possibility but wewill have to wait and see what happens when he comes back"</p> <span>Wisla Kraków are the currently Polish champions and sit top ofthe league again this season. Managed by Romanian legend Dan Petrescu,Wisla were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the ThirdQualifying Round by Greek side Panathinaikos. </span></p><span> Jacob will be back with the Reds in time to prepare for Saturday's clash with Colchester United at Oakwell.</p></span>
RE: Why look on the negative side Coached by the only footballer to have his own prime time animal based TV programme. He'll come back and set the game alight on Saturday if he's really after a World Cuppa place and a new contract with us or Wisla. He will become the new Keano (before he lost it).
