    I think bus drivers are on between £11-£13 an hour depending on length of service.

    Unison are just about to ballot school support staff for strike action action after we refused 1.75%. Our pay is atrocious for the responsibilities we hold, the days where support stuff just put up a display or two and listen to kids read are long gone. My colleague isn’t in a union though and therefore won’t be striking if it comes to that. It will render my strike action a bit useless as the library will remain open that day. I’m trying to get them to join (they said they were joining up the same weekend as me but then never did) but not holding by breath.
