Yeah Holgate did the same. Stones was different in that he was always going to leave but signing a new contract first as a good will gesture that he didn't have to do to say thanks for all we'd done for him, made sure we could command more.
No one booing round us everyone wondering why Butters being booed ... Shackell a different case acted like a knob when he left and on his first return
We don't believe what the papers say do we? On a serious point I think Butterfield has been injured and perhaps hasn't been fully available until now. He was player of the year at Huddersfield and from what games I saw last season of Derby, they were a better team and secured more results with him in centre mid. The wheels seem to come off when they started swapping and changing midfielders to accommodate Hughes and Johnson. Can't compare him with Scowan they are different players, one played 2 games in the champ other Prem, one a ball playing midfielder the other tenacious battler. You wouldn't consider them a like for like replacement. Regarding Moncur only fitting one formation, didn't that get levelled at Hourihane a few seasons ago. The question mark for Butterfield isn't is he good enough for the championship because he clearly is, the questions is, is Derby with Pearson the right place for him.
Looks same size as he did for us to me Do hope he's stopped with the cancer sticks though. Don't get why anyone would want to smoke, especially professional sport athletes where it can hinder their fitness and health which is of course their meal ticket.
