I will vote Green. I’m not in favour of more austerity or privatisation the NHS or making peaceful protest illegal or demonising immigrants so Labour is not for me. I’m not voting for someone as dangerous economically speaking as Rachel Reeves who links a national economy to a household one. Christ even GCSE economics students know that’s a fallacy. Anyone who won’t rejoin the single market just guarantees economic stagnation and austerity.

If they find enough people to vote for them based on that then good luck to them. I will vote Green and be out canvassing listing everyone of Starmers broken pledges.

I notice today he is no longer going to get rid of universal credit as promised.

    Second jobs are now fine

Wonder which pledges he will break next week.

Difficult one as my Labour guy is a Blairite parachuted in and recent communication about the vile Wes Streeting Shadow Health Secretary bullying colleagues doesn’t bode well , I’ll wait and see if TUSC put a candidate up

Lib Dems for me, first time ever not voting Labour. Partly tactical (it's Lib Dem or Tory where I live), partly utter disgust at the way the Labour party has conducted itself over the last few years.

It's interesting to note that two Shadow Cabinet members I've heard so far have failed to confirm that Streeting's plans have been fully discussed with the front bench. I can't see that Labour could find the money to buy GP's out of their practices, and the time and energy required for a reorganisation on this scale would be colossal. Better things to do!

I agree, double their salaries and then start to put an end to these dodgy fundings/Donations’ 1 job 1 wage.

The thing that always amazes me about these second jobs is a) The MPs involved have absolutely zero experience, training or knowledge about the businesses they are paid by and importantly, b) when they leave office they never keep their second jobs.

This means they aren’t paid for their know how, they are paid because they are MPs to lobby.

It’s an absolute fraud and corrupt to the core.

Some of the cash that changed hands is completely disproportionate to the job that they are pretending to do.

I never understood how Paterson - and now Bridgen - didn't have their files handed straight over to the Serious Fraud Office for investigation as soon as they were found to be breaching Parliamentary rules. Any of us would have been suspended until an investigation was completed and either exonerated or imprisoned.

At the end of 2022 Stephanie Peacock was taken out for dinner and booked into a swanky hotel by Netflix. On a separate occasions towards the end of the year they bought her two cinema tickets valued at over £100 (presumably the seats came with an en-suite)

Last night she hosted a roundtable of stakeholders from key broadcasters "to discuss how the Media Bill should be shaped".

Now I'm not suggesting anything but I wonder if Netflix were present...
