    perhaps

but coming out and saying it the day we are celebrating is a little off to me. As if to say half of you need replacing but not me. I just remember back to the season before when he certainly wasnt all that. would rather have Burns back then Mcphail stay personally

    RE: Mcphail...

only played below his Level(as you put it) because no one else would have him. Remember last summer he only signed a new one year deal because he didnt get a offer from anywhere else

    RE: Mcphail...

he would have got offers just not on what we was paying him due to ridsdale being in charge. i believe we paid him £4,000 a week of the £10,000 a week contract he was getting at leeds. not bad to say leeds were paying him £6,000 a week to play for us. see he wont get that now.

    Pre-contract agreements...

only apply across international boundaries. Within the FAs juristiction you can only only negotiate with the player once he turns down any extended deal from his current club or his current club informs him there won't be any new contract. Not that it matters because you can always talk to his agent.

The clock seems to tick on every club he is associated with?

It was ticking on us at one time.

    Hero's Welcome....

He can shuove that up is arse...

anyone who clearly disprespects others (ie what was posted above) even if we do need better players etc, he has no loyalty whatsoever, this is Burns all over again. Only this time is purely money.

If he goes, he won't get a "hero's reception" from me. And I probably won't be the only one saying that. Money Grabbing Judas Barsteward

I will be very happy for him to stay, but we need players that publicly speak for the love of the club like reid has. Then, and only then, will you know he will give 100%.

Spot onHe only stayed last season because no one was interested, and not because "he loves it at Barnsley"

People are getting too caught up in the fact that Chopra has done it for us before, doesn't mean he is going to do it again and I don't think we should break the bank trying to get him.

    ridsdale recommends

"Former Barnsley chairman Peter Ridsdale, who is now working at the Welsh club, recommended the 26-year-old Irishman"

you also recommended Paul Hart to us all Mr Ridsdale.

I think I'd like us to play against McPhrail. Keep the pressure on him, don't give him the space to play and kick him up in the air now and again. He doesn't want it.

Gutted about Chopra though - he's a sharp player, and he's got a good long future ahead of him.
