    He was a free agent in August, maybe we should have signed him then rather than agreeing a deal for Ludewig where he could be recalled in the very same window. We'd have saved ourselves the fee for Brittain and the embarrassment of the statement about Ludewig.

    Trying to reunite Cauley with Kieffer then.

    I would be very annoyed if we sell Woodrow, unless it’s an insane bid of course. He’s one of our best players and we won’t replace him with anyone near his level and experience.

    Some of us have been advocating signing players with EFL experience for weeks now,
    so if this signing does happen, it does appear to be a very positive sign that at last, the
    penny might have finally dropped with James and Co. Need to see two or three more
    now, whilst ensuring we don't let any of our existing squad go.

    What's market value though? Hasn't scored in ages, people are comparing him to Toney for 10 million, despite everyone Reporting Peterbrough lied about the figure and its more like 4/5 after bonuses.

    So if we get 3 million or so for Cauley I think we should be happy with that tbh. We aren't selling to a prem team here, so same money we got for Moore or more would be fair, and we can reinvest on someone who's actually going to score.
