Styles even less likely to play for us now that it's actually us that have scuppered the deal?

Any chance of it being resurrected do you think?

Unless his source is Mladen I don’t see anyone else in the club who would be privy to the intricacies of each bid.

 

He should be judged on his ability to manage recruitment and ensure the head coach has the suitable resources for the first team. At the moment, I'm seriously underwhelmed.

It reads to me like it was Faal plus cash for Styles, but we've decided we don't want Faal so have asked for more money in a straight cash transfer, they've said no.

No hearsay, just a negotiation that hasn't been agreed.

No offence but I'd take anything Luca posts with a pinch of salt given that he posted Richie Wellens was going to sign as manager "tomorrow" at one point.

 

Maybe Clarke wants him? Midfield and left side of defence hasn't been too impressive so far.

 

He's also got plenty right to be fair, much more than the usual lot believing rumours. But any comments coming from anyone not directly involved with the club should be taken with a pinch of salt regardless. Luca, however, is the only poster on here or twitter whom i'd take in an interest in when he speaks about something - just not take it as gospel though, cos I'm not daft (believe it or not)

 

I genuinely dont know baz. At his best he's an extremely talented player. But my reply was more in response to a comment that appears to say they want him to fail. I find that bizzare If a sell on clause is inserted. Surely we'd want him to succeed if only for that reason. To bring more revenue into the club. It can only be a win win if that happens. If it doesn't we don't lose out.

 

Maybe WBA saw our fans and the other loan clubs fans pissing themselves that anyone would pay money for him….

Unless we’re absolutely desperate there is no way he gets integrated back into the squad, bridges have been burnt and he faces being crucified from the terraces.

You’d have thought Hourihane would’ve been in his ear this summer going through his experiences about moving on and doing in ‘the right way’?

Keiller-Dunn wasn't playing against us for Mansfield because the deal was done. Wellens was joining as gaffer two months ago. Freddie Ladapo was a done deal at the back end of July.

He might have a contact on the inside, but plenty of it is speculation, so don't get too excited.
