    Not that I an see JCR playing central midfield when we now have Colace, Anderson, Teymourian, Hasell vying for a slot centrally.

    Unless he plays point that is....

    I'm sure that JCR could play in the centre but the position he is most effective in is on the wing. We need him on the wing. Anderson, Colace, Leon etc can't do what JCR can out wide, so play him where it is best for the team. If we don't start creating opportunities and scoring goals, we ain't going to stay up!

    Not according to John Barnes. "He can play anywhere". If we, the fans, managed BFC we would be in the Conference in three seasons, and I say that as a former player at a reasonable level.

    Missing the point

    If you read the article that came out Davey accepts that he got it wrong playing JCR as a "sweeper" and he has now told JCR he has to refocus his game moving him 20-30 yards up the pitch and play as an attacking midfield / winger. Would you ask a centre half to move up front and continue to play the same way or would you ask him to refocus and think how he would play as a striker, thats all davey seems to have done ,a cockup yes but no way his he criticising
    as a player. Rant Over

    Good Players can play in any position,but in this case i thinks S.D has got it very wrong. J.C.R is a winger who should be played as a WINGER.Attacking Central midfield role could just be put up with but he is never going to produce the goals that Howard did.S.D let him do what he is best at for the benefit of the TEAM......

    The unanswered question has JCR had his head turned by the Reading bid and therefore will he be the player he was for us on the wing or will he turnout to be the next Howard?
