If thirty years from now we see a photo of the ships that passed in the night of the class of 2014/2015 I wonder how many/FEW we'll recognise -

It's probably a bit early for Coatsworth. According to Wiki he was born in October '68 which would mean he was only 15 at the time. Odd career he had. Played half a dozen times for us and looked *****. Went to play for Darlington in the conference then suddenly popped up at Oakwell playing for Leicester. I think Brian Little was manager for Darlington and took Coatsworth with him when he went to Leicester. He only played 32 times for Leicester but he actually played in the play-off final that got them promoted to the Premier League in '94. He then just disappeared.

I wouldn't know Ian Knight if I saw him. I never saw him play before he was shipped off to Wednesday and, because of the injury, I didn't see him play for them either.

Not only did Coatsworth pop up for Leicester, didn't he score the winner for them on the day the East Stand was opened?

    Henry

Henry from Neighbours is Andy Duggan, famous only for scoring with his hand against Hull for a last minute winner vs Hull one Boxing Day mid-80's. Did Chandler get the other three ?

Andy has been a good mate of mine for the best part of 44 years now.

I remember Duggan. I don't remember him looking like that though. Cheers for the info.

    Not seen this picture before

And its taken a few hours to work it out. I have a Junior team photo from 1984-85 which has helped immensely but I am still missing the player next to Aggie.

I guess the photo was never used because Dave Geddis is chating to Joe Joyce.

    Re: Henry

Mate, am happy to share some pics with him with dodgier barnets than that :) We went to a place called Playa D'Aro in Spain at the end of that season, me and him signed our autographs as Bernt Shcuster and Steve Archibold for some Spanish teenies ........... the perks of buying a Barca shirt early in the holiday.

30 years on he is off to Hannover with us next month for a bit of AC DC :)

yes get in there, i did know quite a few and those names have proved me right.

look at players like gwyn thomas before he learned to stand on a box, steve agnew before he lost his hair, larry may before he got rid of the spiv tash, and dave geddis before he learned how to look straight forward when a photo was being taken lol.
