can anyone recommend any good pc games

RE: Civilization IV

The earlier versions are very much different beasts - Civ 1 and 2 play quite similarly, but Civ 2 is graphically better and can still be played enjoyably.

Civ 3 is even better graphically but also plays very very differently to its earlier versions in terms of strategies.

Civ 4 is again a leap in graphics, although not necessarily a better game, its different and has pro's and cons to Civ3.

 

Mmmmmmm Harpoon

Serious naval simulation.

They keep touting a new Harpoon (4?) but it never makes it to the surface.

I keep hoping though...

 

Can any one remember

privateer 2 for the pc. had Clive "im king arthur but not bond" Owen on all the cinematic cut scenes. great game
