Can someone explain why we haven't bombed Iran to an inch of its life ???

Territorial waters breached or not. Taking military personnel hostage is illegal and could warrant military action in self defence.

 

Maybe the simple reason is that were just not big enough..... we have crack forces which I beleived that royal marines were, surrendering to Iranian coast guard, is it possible that training of our troops has been outsourced to france or Italy??? makes you wonder.
As for people that say send in the SAS to rescue them what a load of rubbish it would be an impossible mission and could easily backfire, how would we look with the SAS boys on iranian TV appologising and calling for us to pull out of Iraq.

 

Make no mistake, this will happen eventually but the bombing will be done by either Israel or America. the favourite being Israel.

There is no chance of Iran making an Atomic Bomb as this will happen first.

The alternative is too frightening to contemplate. The last thing we want is to start the chain.

Imagine if Iran and her friends were surrounding the UK by occupying France, Ireland and Scandinvia ...... then started sailing up and darn the channel in our waters eating our fish.....I imagine we maybe a little pissed off!

 

Israel did that last year when they had 2 soldiers taken

The soldiers are STILL being held I believe and over 1500 soldiers and civilians are dead as a direct result. Extrapulate the 2 to 15 then 11,250 die, and the soldiers are still in custody.

 

To those wanting to bomb Iran......

Are you interestined in getting these 15 troops back alive or are you more bothered about seeking revenge regardless of the consequences?

I ask because you might as well kiss goodbye the lives of those soldiers if you bomb Iran. Either you'll kill them in the bombing or they'll be shot or hung afterwards.

What about all the UK troops sat over the border in Iraq? You don't think the politically Iranian influenced Shia militia in Basra would sit idly by and watch Iran bombed with several thousand UK troops on their back door do you?

Same old story as before, people all too ready to go to war with amid a load of flag waving B*ll*cks without thinking of the consequences.

I dont know why they dont give us the sailors back , but tell their people that we have apologised even though we havent. We have called their bluff as they know that they would get annihilated if any harm came to the sailors, maybe they thought we'd give in. Still this is the kind of rubbish you get from a President under pressure , reminds me of George Bush in a way. Trying to whip up some national fervour based on very little.</p>

I would bet that hardly anyone of those throwing rocks (provided by the Iranian Govt) know where Britain is. </p>
