Can someone sum up whose fault it is, then?

Who said anything about building a basic squad?

We've already got a basic squad. we're talking about a couple of strikers and a centre back. Is there such a big difference between signing a player on a year's loan and buying a contract for two? (Apart from the obvious financial one of course.)</p>

RE: Patrick Cryne...just a fan who helped the club out... YOU UNGRATEFUL *******

Hang on a mo... before we start getting down on one knee and kissing his feet, are we talking about the same PR who tried buying the club (on the cheap) before Peter Doyle and then when he lost out to the said PD had to go back 12 months later with BMBC in tow to buy the club and its assets... and who now is applying for planning for houses on the site of the BFC carparks...FACT... no doubt making a nice profit on his investment. (by the way, wasn't PD slagged from pillar to post when he suggested "sweating" BFC assets) Now i don't blame PC for cashing in, he's a businessman but don't make him out to be a knight in shining armour

Too right mate, i like PC and GS. I've met GS on a few occasions and he's a really genuine bloke and who can blame him for not wanting to see us back where we were 3 seasons ago. Both these guys know alot more about the finances at BFC than the rest of us and both are successfull businessmen, self made i might add. we should probably trust their judgement. After all ther aint done bad for us so far...

RE: boltonred cops for it cos we dint sign anyone

They can throw what ever they want at me mate, I don't give a ****.

I have not slagged the club off at any point, regardless of no signings coming in. Next game, I'll be there in my season ticket seat, regardless of us making no signings. I'll continue to travel to away games, regardless of us making no signings....... Anyone took the hint yet, I'm not bothered that we haven't signed anyone, I HAVE 100% FAITH IN THE BOARD, MANAGER AND PLAYING SQUAD.

End of the day, we have too many 'thickle fans on this board who are quick to slag the club off... Sort of things you expect from Kids and not supposed grown men!!! Some of them need to look at themselves.
