RE: Vancouver - lovely place aye, go up the sunshine coast, you'll not want to come back. ooh, and go see skookumchuck (stop s******ing at the back!!)
RE: A few more for your collection They're great. Much better than Russian swear words. khui, blyad, gavno and pizdetz aren't really much to write home about. Actually, pizdetz is pretty cool. It means a disastrous situation, but is really offensive.
Met a bloke on holiday last year, who was a director of large gas company in Calgari, Canada. The whole place is buzzing there aint enough people for jobs and he reckoned even the people who work in sarnie shops, stacking shelves are on £15.00 per hour! Beautiful wide open spaces, large houses (comparitive to ours for money). Great schools, and a fair tax system. No Barnsley fc though!
RE: A few more for your collection i forget what it is now but the germans have a word for a man who inserts his member into an electrical socket
Did you say sheep? Always wanted to go to New Zealand. But over the years, the more I have found out, the less I want to go. Highest rates of mental health problems in the world!
Molly's Tea Room & Restaurant Fabulous home made meals, absolutely HUGE helpings, first class service, fantastic selection of wines, reasonable prices.
Thornwick Bay & Sea Farm Fantastic walks for our dogs and useful base when making day trips up and down the coast (eg. Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington, The Wolds). But, most importantly, Laura loves it. Happy children equals happy parents.
Probably "Dummkopf" Would be very painful if you had a "Stahlschwanz" Clue: German for that is "Schwanz in der Steckdose" if that helps. By the way, this has got to be the funniest video you have ever seen http://youtube.com/watch?v=I0GTa0KXhVk&feature=related
My current specialist subject of sorts...my sister lived in Vancouver for 10 years, been there several times, amazing place, 30 mins from beach and ski slopes, slower pace of life, all the things that a big city has but not so much of the attitude. And Cecils is the best 'review bar' I've ever been to. Bar none. That said, been to a seminar on New Zealand and opportunities, and the chance is there for us, just need to persuade the missus that its a goer. And if Im still here, Im voting Tory at the next election.
Canada - not a place to grow old in Save that tax money for the ridiculous amounts of money you'll need should you fall ill. Highest levels of organised crime in the world apparantly. Having said that I think vancouver and BC are top spots. NZ may be the most boring place on earth and has an incredibly high suicide rate. Don't plan on earning loads either and once you place all your finances there for a number of years you'll struggle to return to the same economic position should you wish to return to blighty.
RE: Labour backbenchers got rid of Blair for fear of losing election 20 minutes. Dead in the water.
Without the showman they've been shown up for what they are. Professional politicians with no grasp at all about how people live. Their pet projects and social engineering have resulted in a bankrupt nation, just at the time that the banking system has finally f-cked itself.
