Not much, would have been a huge gamble for Ritchie with his extremely tight budget. You're talking B*ll*cks, Cazim Richards was a League 1 reserve at the time and so a huge risk.

 

However

The board were prepared to sign him if Richtea wanted him.

At the time Burns left AR said, it is better to let a player go than keep a player who doesnt want to be at a club. i reckon andy is right on that.

Maybe burns was on an inordinate salary (because he was signed under PR) and wanted more money / the same?

You seem quite keen to believe any hypothesis that supports AR. I suggest you open your mind.

In any case AR's fault lies in his failure to replace Burns.

 

i just like his style of play, i can forgive a lot for that entertainment, but, i think in the end, the board made the right decision. as for terms, i think youre right
