Interesting topic in these anti car / anti pollution times. Getting rid of 90% of the car park, save 10% for ambulant and the less abled. Encourage public transport, council already offer free parking in town, a few private enterprises will no doubt pop up closer to the ground Khalid can then sell it to Lidl for a few pennies Most new grounds are built without car parking provision on the scale we have at Oakwell, are the problems we have because the car park is actually too big
There were a few irate driver's on Grove St just after 7.15 when they had the entry gates shut on them. The car park was half full. I guess they had already paid to park there.
I can’t think of another ground that has more convenient parking than Oakwell with two completely separate car parks leading to different routes and I can’t think of any other club who make the home fans wait until the visitors have left. It does put people off, especially those with disabilities and I don’t see why it is so difficult to fix it.
No, I think you'd find that the buses were the wrong colour or there wasn't enough leg room,,,,, or something!
