Getting better. Recovering at home now but still suffers with memory loss apparently. Long way to go but is making steady progress thankfully.

    That's good to hear.

As for Sunday - just hope that the prompt action taken to catch the bloke goes in your favour.

The fact the ref was hit could cause the authorities to really come down hard on you.

Do you think the move to the all seater may help to eradicate this type of incident

... less percieved annonymity compared to terraces ?

    Hopefully

...but how can you legislate for morons like that? Not as if they're going to search everyone & stop them taking money in is it? If he's daft enough to throw a coin at Ninian Park, I'm sure he'd be daft enough to throw one elsewhere.

Personally, I think the club did as much as they could. There were more than enough stewards & police there, the guy was identified, caught & banned virtually immediately. What else coud they do?

I just hope that all the attention this incident has attracted will deter others in the future.

bluebird, he must have had fast hands and be able to throw from different directions

because there were loads of coins coming down at the same time.
that section is notorious for coin throwing, it should be shut to home fans.

  7. That section will be shut to everybody soon, won't it

Seeing as they are about to bulldoze the place

i know mate, too little too late for me. 1 guy takes the rap for many throwing coins.

my mate went with leeds for that fa cup tie, when sam hammann walked round the pitch stirring things up.
he said the coppers betwen the fans started putting on their riot helmets. he asked what's going on and was told you'll see in a minute.
then a torrent of coins came flying over from that section.he was with his young lads too
