What puzzles me is this. Why are Cardiff allowed to talk to him and offer him a contract when we are not?
All players are under contract until June 30th.

The signs are there that Chopra would welcome a move to Oakwell but Newcastle chairman says "Barnsley have not come for ask for permission to talk to Chopra" when other clubs have their money on the table. This is where the lack of football knowledge and dealings our our Chairman are hoplessly exposed compared to you know who.

Isn't this the worrying thing about preparations for next season in general! How many times during last season did we hear that we had just missed out on a big signing? Was this down to GS's lack of experience? Will this happen throughout the close season?

According to Ian Appleyard at the Yorkshire post YESTERDAY said that no one had been i for CHOPRA and no decision had been made because Chopras agent is currently in Australia and will not be back until the 20th of June so at this momemt Chopra has not signed for anybody..(givinfinger)
