RE: I bow down before your bravery

I tried everything, even illegal chemicals that I bought from a shop on the internet. I was told to use kerosene on old tea bags. When I told my neighbour what I had done his response was told tell the wife............
Believe me when I say that I am an animal lover ( no not in the wierd sense ) but my daughter was getting poorly a lot of times when she had been playing out and we had to do something about it.

No i would not recommend shooting them as that would be a cruel and evil thing to do. I took in a cat that had been shot with an air rifle and it cost alot of money to get the poor cat sorted out. I have had her for 2 years now and she is still very timid due to this mindless cruelty inflicted upon her by some sadistic imbecile.
Now as for your plants, my mum was a keen gardener and she used to spray around the plants with a citric acid spray as cats hate citric acid. I know when i peel an orange in the house if my two cats are near they run a mile. Or a cheaper option is just to hide orange peel under the plants.
My sister uses a pepper spray that you can get from Homebase, she swears by that.
Or something that would cost you no money is water. Cats hate getting wet, so a water pistol pointed in the right direction.
So i hope you choose one of the above and do not hurt a poor defenceless animal, as i would have to hunt you down!
Personally i provide a covered litter tray in my garden aswell as one in the house so that my cats do not go in other peoples gardens, as i know how much cat poo got on my mums nerves. It stops my cats pooing in other peoples gardens so that psycho's like you won't do horrible things to them and then i won't end up in prison for killing someone who has hurt my babies.
    Hope this helps

I still struggle to understand why if I don't clean up after my dog I can be fined, yet my cat can do whatever she likes.

Because otherwise you'd have to climb over people's fences and traipse for miles after your cat. It'd be unreasonable to expect people to follow their cats everywhere.

Also, why do cats (and dogs and ferrets) have to be treated for fleas and ticks before crossing to the UK but humans don't? Particularly humans WITH pets. Our vet can't get over how pointless the whole thing is.

I am a cat owner so not biased. Your cat does what you let her. As i said before i have a litter tray in the house and one in the garden so mine aren't doing it in other peoples gardens, so they not at risk from being hurt by some cat hating person. I know this stops them going in other peoples gardens as i have to poop-scoop the litter trays everyday.

How do you know that what you are scooping is all from your cat and not others?

Good point that Cazi. Well i know 100% that the ones in my house are from my cats, and am almost positive the ones in my garden are from my cats as one of the cats patrols the garden like she's a rotweiller. If another cat comes in they get it! so i never see other cats in my garden as she's seen them all off
