Just think we’re planning ahead just in case we don’t get automatic promotion run outs for Kieffer resting players etc

Really? Yes we've won the last 3 games but I can't imagine a side in our position 'resting players' in case they end up the play-offs!

I like Thiam, I really do. I think when he's on his game, he offers something nobody else in the league can come close to.

However, even I wouldn't start him at the minute. He's off the boil. He'd make a perfect 60th-minute substitute though, to power through a tiring defense.

Resting players? We've played the same team for about 6 months, barring injuries/suspensions. Who do you think we're resting?

He's 24. Do footballers remain "young lads" for five years longer than people in the real world?

Anyway, if you were critical earlier in the summer then you're as guilty as anyone else.

I was critical when he had bad games earlier in the season. I don't have a agenda on him like some seemed to he has been good since he was dropped earlier on in the season not sure anyone can argue differently.

He’s just turned 24. Was 23 at the start of the season.

So is he a grown man or young lad now?

Young lad. There is still u23s age level in football which supports this.

This is his first full season which is also of relevance.

Imho a young lad with the best first touch at the club, has some great touches and good close control.
He his also a confidence player who is off (more often than not) with his shooting and decision making in the final 3rd. His tracking back also leaves a bit to work on......however our gaffer picks him and that's good enough for me. I like him and want like him more but I think there's another 20% in him and that would make him a great champ player, maybe it's his application. Whatever think he's had a decent season.

We have a very good manager who knows his players every football manager has a plan b. Still think Cavaré could play a big part in our next two games

He could play a part, if picked. But to suggest that any player is being rested at the moment in order to be ripe for the playoffs is plan z. And wrong.

We need to chuck everything into our games.

Every very good manager knows this.

I would have played Cavare the last two games. I think we missed him against Shrewsbury. We did not against Plymouth - in fact it might have been fatal to play him - cos J Williams unlocked the Argyle door which we then barged through.
