Understandably as it would have been a complete waste of time seeing as we will have left by Christmas
Setting yourself up for disappointment I fear, Ian. Only chance is an SNP/Labour coalition in Westminster after 2024 I think.
You probably won’t get a form unless you live in an area deemed to have poor broadband. It is preferred you do it online. The ONS want most done that way. You have to request a paper form if you want one. Takes about ten minutes (per person in your house) tops.
Possibly but I live in hope. I shudder at the thought of more years of Tory oppression. Scottish elections will give a clearer view of the road ahead.
As long as you believe that nothing will change between now and the 21st then fill it in now. That way the servers will have less chance of falling over with the heavy load.
Radio advertising for it says fill it in now, whereas the letter you get tells you to fill it in on Sunday 21 March or as soon as possible after. No mention there of doing it before. I have done ours but won't submit until after 21st.
Labour? I honestly think they are finished for good. See Starmer pointing to Drakeford as an example of what Labour could do to a country? I suspect I'm far from the only lifelong Labour voter that will never go near them again.
Was talking specifically about Scottish Independence. If the tories are the Majority party there’s no chance they grant another referendum. I’m assuming you “won’t touch Labour” because of their stance on lockdowns. There’s no parties in the UK that have a different stance except wherever Nigel Farage decides to pop up. If that’s where you want to place your political support go ahead but I suspect you don’t. By the time of the next election Covid restrictions will be a distant memory (despite what you seem to want to believe) and basing your vote on that when all parties have basically the same stance seems extremely short sighted. The tories are probably the closest to your views on Covid anyway of the main parties.
But you're happy with the same situation for reporting covid deaths within 28 days of a positive test aren't you?
You and TM have become somewhat a laughing stock for trying to turn every thread into a discussion about Covid. You used to post some reasonable stuff and the odd 'strange' opinion, but now you've become a parody of yourself.
