Thing is, the owners are talking to fans from other clubs they own so comparisons with Man City are immaterial. Probably misguidedly thinks he can smooth over fan discontent without owners facing them.
I only quoted one part of your post but you’ve responded by repeating a load of other stuff rather than what I commented on. I don’t disagree with a lot of it. You’re opinion is a bit OTT for me, and some inaccuracies, but sentiment is fairly similar to my own although I’m way more hopeful and less gloomy because I think we’ve got a great team of people running the day to day operations and this Summer will be a positive one (although challenging).

How do we know he was gagging to get on Sky though? I get the limelight comment, but I’m sure Sky were just as gagging to get one of the foreign investors on - especially if they’d done their homework on him not really doing any interviews since they bought the club.
