    Government can take back control though. Plus there are members of the MPC committee that are directly appointed by the Government and who are not members of Bank of England. Polical meddling to come?

    If labour are the 1990s conservatives, then why didn't you vote for them at the time and if you think that they (the 1990's Tories) were actually incompetent, why did you vote for them?

    Remove the 782,000 additional civil servants Nu Lab hired, who form the bulk of petty rules. Mind you they probably all worked in that dumb pugilist, Prescot's Office. Get rid of the unelected Regional Assemblies. Stop employing KPMG and their like to formulate more layers of bureaucracy etc. Scrap the Unitary Authorities, and go back to the system we enjoyed prior to Heath's dabbling.
